User Settings
User settings are configurable settings associated with you and your username, rather than with your account. All user settings are accessible from a single User Settings screen in Portal.
To navigate to the User Settings section in Portal select Settings > User Settings. User settings are grouped as follows on the User Settings screen:
Communication Settings
- Email Address: Change your email address.
- SMS Address: Enter an SMS address to receive alerts on your cell phone.
- Mobile Number: The Mobile Number screen lets you add, edit, and delete mobile phone numbers from your account.
- Alert Notification: Select your default method of receiving alerts.
- Message Center Notification: Set your preferred and secondary languages for message and how to delivery inquiry tickets.
- Marketing Preferences: Use this page to configure your marketing preferences.
Security Settings
- Password: Change your account password.
- Online Features: Sign up to vote in our online voting forums.
- IP Restrictions: Restrict user access to TWS by IP address.
- Secure Login System: Enroll in our Secure Login Program and share your security device with a second, matching user.
- Change Security Questions: Change your security questions.
Trading Platform Settings
- Read-Only Access: Enable or disable read-only access to trading platforms.
- Market Data Subscriptions: Subscribe to market data.
- Research Subscriptions: Subscribe to news and research.
- Asia Gateway Access: This page lets account holders based in China select their delivery source for market data and regional services.
Reporting Settings
- PortfolioAnalyst Delivery: Configure PortfolioAnalyst delivery settings.
- Statements Delivery: Configure statement delivery settings.
- Flex Delivery: Configure flex statement delivery settings.
- SMS Alerts: Enable SMS Alerts on the account.
