Instructions

The Classic TWS Analytical Tools Menu allows you to open any analytical tools. Simply search and click the tool to open.

Menu Command Description
Technical  
Advanced Chart Opens the Advanced Chart window which allows you to view and edit the advanced charting system.
Chart Opens the new chart window with the Contract Description populated based on the contract you selected in the trading window.
Option Analysis

Displays a list of analytical option tools:

Quote Details Opens a floating window that shows quote, high/low and volume data for a single underlying.
Advanced Quote Details Opens a floating window that shows quotes, a small chart, and environment, social, and governance information.
Mosaic Market Scanner Scan the markets for the top-performing products based on user-selected criteria.
Advanced Market Scanner Scan the markets for the top-performing products based on user-selected criteria.
Bond Scanner Scan the markets for top-performing bonds based on user-selected criteria.
Complex Orders and Trades Scanner Returns all complex strategies on a specific underlying that has a native bid/ask quote or that has traded today. To find the strategy that has traded the most today, sort the results by Volume (click on the Volume column to sort).
Mutual Fund/ETF Replicator The Mutual Fund Replicator finds an ETF(s) whose performance parallels that of a user-specified mutual fund.
Bond Search Opens the Bond Search query in a browser window.
Time & Sales Displays Time & Sales for the selected instrument .
Price History Shows history for the Open, High, Low, Close and Volume history on the selected underlying.
Alerts Set time, price or margin-based alerts.
SLB Rates Shows current Borrow/Loan Fee and historical rates on the selected underlying.
Set Alarm Define an alarm for the selected underlying.
Model Navigator Edit pricing assumptions to calculate model prices.
Futures Term Structure View the real-time and historical term structure of futures prices.
Arbitrage Meter The Arbitrage Meter illustrates the extent of the premium (or discount) of the lead month futures price above (or below) its fair future value with respect to the index price.
Toolbox Opens the Toolbox window which allows one-click access to useful analytical tools including : Market Depth, Time & Sales, Price History, SLB Rates, Option Chain, Fundamentals, Alerts, News, Charts and Analyst Research.
Fundamentals  
Fundamentals Explorer Opens the Fundamentals Explorer window which is designed to help you better gauge the fundamental value of an asset.
Analyst Research and Market Commentary Subscription-based research including: Briefing.com, Zacks, Morningstar and Waverly Advisors.
Discover Open the Discover window to see at a glance which companies are being talked about - the bigger the bubble, the greater the buzz.
Daily Lineup Designed to be viewed first thing in the morning, the Daily Lineup provides a birds-eye view of upcoming market events.
Calendar Events

  • Event Calendar - View events for the selected instrument such as corporate earnings, dividends, corporate events, etc.

  • Economic Events - Lists major economic events for specific date/region. Requires research subscription to Thomson-Reuters.

  • Portfolio Dividends - View information regarding your portfolio dividends

  • Corporate Events - View corporate earnings data and upcoming events for contracts in your portfolio, your Watchlists and/or your Quote Monitors. Requires research subscription to Thomson-Reuters.

  • US IPO - View IPO information.

  • Corporate Actions - View company corporate actions.

News  
Newswire Lists all of the different news you may view including News for Me, Research for Me, Company Specific News, Portfolio & Watchlist news, etc.
News & Research Opens the News & Research window which provides a Daily Overview, Portfolio News, Watchlist News, Read Later, Manage Subscriptions, etc.
Trade Worldwide Provides World Wide news in which you can view.
Videos View news videos such as Bloomberg TV, Bloomberg TV Asia, and Traders Insight Videos.
Portfolio  
Stock/ETF Benchmarker Allows you to view information regarding your Portfolio vs Benchmark, Top Contributors, Sector Contribution, and Performance Details.
Risk Navigator Opens the Risk Navigator real-time risk management tool.
Portfolio Performance Profile View the Portfolio Performance Profile window which helps demonstrate the key performance characteristics of an option or complex option strategy.
Portfolio Analyst Opens the Portfolio Analyst reporting tool in the Portal.
