Account Settings

Account settings are configurable settings associated with your account, rather than with you and your username. All account settings are accessible from a single Account Settings screen, available from the User menu (head and shoulders icon in the top right corner).

Account settings are grouped as follows on the Account Settings screen:

  • Account Profile - Modify personal information such as name and address for individual or entity account holders.

  • Account Configuration - The Account Configuration section also displays your Client Type (Individual, Joint, etc.), and your legal residence (state/province and country).

  • Account Communication - Modify communications with clients.

  • Trading - Configure trading settings.

  • Client Settings - Configure trading settings.

  • Account Reporting - Configure reporting settings.

  • Investors' Marketplace - This section describes the options available in the Investors' Marketplace menu.

  • Security - View an audit trail of account changes.

  • Ownership Table - The ownership table option in Advisor Portal allows you to update your ownership percentage, add an ownership entity, and update tax forms.

  • Users and Access Rights - Displays a list of existing users, lets you add users and set their Client Portal access rights, and create user roles. Security Officers can view account-level access rights and configure the number of authorizers.
