Instant Local Transfer via eDDA
Instructions
eDDA stands for Electronic Direct Debit Authorization. It is a Transfer Service in Hong Kong that provides clients with a fast and convenient way to draw funds, in HKD or CNY, from their Hong Kong bank account to credit their account. Once the initial eDDA setup request has been confirmed by your bank, you can top up your account at any time by simply confirming the transfer amount.
To initiate an Instant Local Transfer via eDDA, please take the steps outlined below.
- Click the Transfer & Pay tab > Transfer Funds.
- Alternatively, click Menu in the top left corner > Transfer & Pay > Transfer Funds.
- If you are managing multiple accounts, the Account Selector opens. Select the account you want to use for this transaction, or use the search function in the Account Selector to find the desired account. Click continue to submit your account selection and close the Account Selector.

Select Make a Deposit.

Select Use a new deposit method

In the Currency list, select the Hong Kong Dollar.

Select Instant Local Transfer via eDDA.

Input the Bank Information and Account Nickname.

Authorize the eDDA Setup request by electronically signing and clicking Confirm.
