Add a New External Account

Link External Accounts
  1. From the home screen, click the Link External Accounts.

  2. Select Link External Accounts from the menu.

  3. If you selected one of the available financial institutions, the next window will prompt you to link your account by entering the login credentials of the financial institution.

  4. Complete any of the information requested and click Next.

Link Offline Accounts
  1. From the home screen, click the Add Offline Account.

  2. Enter the information for that financial institution by uploading the data via CSV or entering the transaction information manually. Then click Continue

  3. Once successfully added, accounts appear on the External Accounts page.

    Note: The earliest possible date for data is January 2, 2009.

    You can see your external account data on the PortfolioAnalyst Home tab. External account data is added in real-time.

Note: You can see your external account data on the PortfolioAnalyst Summary screen. After adding an external account, it takes one business day to update in PortfolioAnalyst.
