Set Alerts

Instructions

Define price, trade, and margin alerts with trigger notifications sent to your email address. To do so, please take the steps outlined below.

  1. Tap the Account menu icon (three horizontal lines) on the top left corner of the app and select Alerts.

    • Leave a triggered alert active by enabling Repeatable in the alert Settings.

    • Set an expiration date on the alert using Expires in the alert Settings.

    • Allow an alert to trigger outside regular trading hours by enabling Outside RTH in the alert Settings.

    • Triggered alerts display in your list with a black "!" icon.

To define a Price alert
  1. Tap the Account menu icon (head and shoulders) in the top left corner of the app and select Alerts.
  2. Tap + in the bottom right corner of the list to create a new alert.
  3. Enter a descriptive name and tap Add Price, Trade or Margin Condition to define alert conditions.
  4. Tap Price and select or search for an instrument.
  5. Modify alert criteria by tapping the appropriate line and selecting a new value.
  6. Tap Save. Review alert parameters and if complete, tap Create Alert to activate the alert.
To set a Trade alert
  1. Tap the Account menu icon (head and shoulders) in the top left corner of the app and select Alerts.
  2. Tap + in the bottom right corner of the list to create a new alert.
  3. Enter a descriptive name and tap Add Price, Trade or Margin Condition to define alert conditions.
  4. Tap Trade and define alert parameters including underlying, exchange and financial instrument type.

  5. Tap Save. Review alert parameters and if complete, tap Create Alert to activate the alert.

To set a Margin alert
  1. Tap the Account menu icon (head and shoulders) in the top left corner of the app and select Alerts.
  2. Tap + in the bottom right corner of the list to create a new alert.
  3. Enter a descriptive name and tap Add Price, Trade or Margin Condition to define alert conditions.
  4. Tap Margin Cushion and define boundary settings.
  5. Tap Save. Review alert parameters and if complete, tap to activate the alert.

Deactivate, or Delete an alert by tapping it from the Alerts list and then tapping the desired action at the bottom of the active alert. Modify by changing parameters in the alert and then tapping Save.

Triggered alerts remain in the Alerts list labeled with a black ‘triggered’ icon. You can delete a triggered alert by selecting the alert and then touching Delete.
