Multi-Charts

IBKR Desktop offers the ability to view up to eight charts at the same time using the same or different underlying symbols. To do so, please take the steps outlined below.

Instructions

  1. In the top right corner of the Chart screen, select the multi-chart check-box.

  2. Select the number of charts to be displayed (up to 8 charts), and select the toggle button to the right of symbol, interval, and crosshair for chart syncing.

  3. The multi-charts will be displayed on your screen.

Sync Multi-Chart Mode

Charts displayed inside IBKR Desktop can be anchored to the same symbol or symbols can be displayed independently using the Multi-chart mode. This enables the user to choose the number of charts grouped for similar or tailored display in a single view.

  • Symbol: If toggled, the symbol is synced on all charts within the layout.

  • Interval: If toggled, the intervals are synced on all charts within the layout.

  • Crosshair: If toggled, crosshair is synced between all charts within the layout.
