IBKR ForecastTrader
Instructions
IBKR ForecastTrader lets investors buy and sell exchange listed Forecast and Event Contracts, which gives investors a new and straightforward way of participating in key futures markets. Exchange listed Forecast and Event Contracts are based on the outcome of an event and are short-term positions good for that trading day only. Forecast and Event Contracts let you express your view on whether the price of key futures markets will move up or down by the end of each day's trading session. You can select from Forecast Contracts by ForecastEx, LLC or event contracts by CME in the Equity Index, Energy, Metals and Foreign currency futures markets.
To use this feature, please take the steps outlined below.

Search for an event in the Search Panel.

Select the Event tab.

Click the Event you would like to buy.

ForecastTrader opens allowing you to view additional information and submit your order.
