Client Pending Items
Instructions
The Client Pending Items section contains a list of records you can view, sort and search. Sort by clicking any column heading (Info, Pending Item, Date, Account ID, Account Title, Alias, NAV, or Status). Use the search bar to quickly locate information.
-
Click Menu in the top left corner > Home > Client Pending Items tab
By default, ten records are displayed, but you can change this to 25, 50, or 100. Click items in the Status column for more information.
There are indicators on the items which allow advisors to quickly identify the different types of items. The Key is at the bottom of the section.
-
Advisor Task – items where the advisor specifically needs to take some action (e.g. print the Fee Change form, application related items, etc.).
-
Client Task (Advisor can take action) – items that the advisors can complete on behalf of clients.
-
Client Task (Advisor cannot take action) – these are items that the advisors cannot complete on behalf of clients.
Advisors may remove certain items from the view. Advisors select the box on the left and click the Trash Can icon.
-
Only items which the advisor cannot complete can be removed. Those the advisors can action remain.
-
The removal is user specific (when user A removes, it will still show for user B).
-
The removal only removes the task from the advisor’s view. The task will still remain open on the client level.
When the FA clicks the Incomplete link in the Status column, the FA will receive a pop-up window informing them of the possible actions. One of these options is to send a notification to the client to complete the task (see example below).
-
For Client Task (Advisor can take action) – advisor will be presented with the option to either complete the task on behalf of the client or to send a notification to the client to complete.
-
For Client Task (Advisor cannot take action) – advisor will be presented with the ability to send a notification to the client to complete.
-
An automated notification will be sent to the client alerting them to a pending task.
