Third-Party Reports

Instructions

  1. Click Statements & Reporting in the top left corner and select Third-Party Reports > Third-Party Services.

The Third-Party Reports page gives you access to the following reports:

Use this section to activate or deactivate third-party services so clients can use outside reporting and aggregate web services with your account. Currently, we support the following third-party services for activity data:

  • By All Accounts
  • CashEdge
  • eMoney Client Connection
  • Mint
  • Plaid
  • Quicken Direct Connect
  • Sharesight
  • TradeLog
  • TradesViz
  • TurboTax
  • Yodlee

TradeLog, TurboTax and Quicken Direct Connect are assigned to a selected account. CashEdge and Mint include all accounts for the user.

  1. Click Statements & Reporting in the top left corner and select Third-Party Reports.

  2. To configure Third-Party Services, select the configure gear icon Image of the gear icon in portal. on the top right of the Third-Party Services window.

  3. Toggle to enable or disable any of the third-party services you want to use.

  4. For TurboTax integration, use the Token and Query ID as your credentials to link your account held here.

  5. Click the x button to return to the Account Settings screen.

    Note: You must be logged into the specific account in which you want to generate the Query ID and Token. The system will not allow you to use the account selector to switch accounts.

The Data Feeds section will list any currently enabled third-party data feeds for the account. To view this information, please refer to the steps below. You may reach out to reportingintegration@interactivebrokers.com to request linkage or remove a specific third-party data feed.

  1. Click Statements & Reporting in the top left corner and select Third-Party Reports > Third-Party Data Feeds.

This section allows you to download statements into any one of the following software:

  • Quicken Web Connect
  • GainsKeeper
  • Tradelog
  • Microsoft Money
  • Portfolio Center/Morningstar
  • Captools (Legacy)
  • Plaid

In addition, the following downloads are available upon request:

  • Daily Captools Downloads - Available for clients upon request. Send your request to enable Captools downloads to reportingintegration@interactivebrokers.com. If you request Daily Captools Downloads, the Activity Downloads page will contain an additional section for Daily Captools Downloads.
  • Daily PortfolioCenter®/MorningstarDownloads for Advisors (for advisor accounts only).

PortfolioCenter is a product of Schwab Performance Technologies, a subsidiary of The Charles Schwab Corporation.

If you are downloading your statements for use in a proprietary program that requires a set format, use Activity Flex Queries instead of Activity Downloads.

To download statements to Third-Party Software:

  1. Click Statements & Reporting in the top left corner and select Third-Party Reports > Third-Party Downloads.

  2. Select the Period and Date using the drop-downs provided.

  3. Click Download.

  4. Open the generated report with the appropriate application, or download it to your computer.
