Client Applications

Instructions

Client Applications may be initiated via the Portal by taking the following steps.

  1. Click Menu in the top left corner > Home > Add Account

    The advisor portal home page.

  2. Select whether you are looking to add an account for A New Client or An Existing Client.

  3. If you select An Existing Client, a screen will pop-up with a list of all contacts. Click the Add Account button next to the client you want to add an account for.

  4. If you select A New Client, please proceed with the following options:

Note: As a measure of client protection, IBKR will not allow the e-mail address of a client to match that of the Advisor.
